3D rendering service
3D Product Rendering
From A$345 per image · 5–7 business days · up to 4 revision rounds
3D product rendering replaces the photoshoot. We build your product from CAD or samples, light it like a studio photographer would, and render it on white, in a lifestyle room set, or in every colourway you sell — from A$345 per image. Australian furniture makers, kitchen and joinery manufacturers, lighting brands, tapware and building-product suppliers use it for catalogues, e-commerce and trade brochures.
The economics are simple: one model, unlimited angles and finishes. Once a sofa is modelled, a new fabric is a material swap, not a reshoot. Once a kitchen range is built, a shaker door in navy and a slab door in oak are two renders from the same file.

Packshots, lifestyle scenes and configurators
Packshots are the product alone on a white or neutral background, lit with soft studio lighting and rendered at high resolution for e-commerce listings and print. Lifestyle renders place the product in a designed room — a kitchen island in a loft, a bath in a marble ensuite, a pendant cluster over a dining table — and sell the context as much as the object.
For ranges with many finishes we render a master scene once and output every combination: fabric, timber, handle, benchtop. The same asset set can feed a website configurator or a printed swatch page.
- Packshots: 4K–8K on white, with clipping-path-ready transparent PNG
- Lifestyle scenes: full room design, styling and lighting
- Colourway and finish variants priced per variant, not per scene
- 360° turntable spins and exploded views on request
What we need from you
The fastest route is manufacturing CAD — STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, Rhino or SketchUp files — plus finish samples or supplier codes for fabric, timber, stone and metal. If no CAD exists we can model from dimensioned drawings and photographs, which adds a day or two. If you are new to commissioning CGI, our guide to what 3D rendering is explains how a model becomes an image, and the briefing guide covers how to write a brief that gets an accurate first draft.
For lifestyle scenes, tell us the customer you are selling to and the rooms your product lives in. We design the set around that: an entry-level flat-pack range is not styled like a bespoke joinery showroom.
Accuracy that survives a trade buyer's scrutiny
Trade buyers and specifiers check proportions, joints and finishes against the real thing. We model to the CAD, match materials from physical samples under calibrated lighting, and render with V-Ray or Corona Renderer — the same physically based engines used for our architectural work — so wood grain, brushed metal and glass behave as they do in a photograph.
You review a draft at each stage: the model, the materials, then the final lighting. Nothing is finalised until the product looks like your product. The turnaround guide shows how long each stage typically takes.
Industries we render for
Furniture and sofa manufacturers, kitchen and wardrobe joinery, tapware and sanitaryware, lighting, flooring and tiles, windows and doors, facade cladding and roofing, outdoor and alfresco products, and retail fit-out systems. If a product goes into a building or a home, it renders well — send the CAD and we will show you a test.
Retail and hospitality brands also commission 3D retail rendering — a shopfit or a café interior with their products in position — to sign off with landlords and investors before the fit-out is built.
Pricing for 3D product renders
Packshots start at A$345 per image for the first angle of a product, with additional angles and colourway variants of the same product from a lower per-variant rate quoted per project. Lifestyle scenes, which include designing and styling a full room, start at A$345 for the first image and scale with the complexity of the set. All prices are AUD.
Compared with photography, the saving compounds: no studio hire, no freight, no set build, no reshoot when a finish changes. Most catalogue projects with ten or more products are quoted as a package. Our 3D rendering cost guide explains what drives the price up or down.

How it works
How we produce 3D product rendering
- 01
Send your drawings
Plans, elevations and sections in PDF, DWG, SketchUp, Revit or ArchiCAD — or a marked-up sketch. Add material schedules, finishes and any reference photos you like.
- 02
Fixed quote in one business day
You get a per-image price in AUD, the delivery date and what's included. No hourly billing and no surprises at invoice time.
- 03
Draft render for your feedback
Within 3–4 days you receive a draft render with materials and lighting close to what you need — the angles, finishes and mood all visible — so feedback is about real images, not diagrams.
- 04
Revisions from your mark-ups
You mark up the draft and we work through the changes. Up to 4 revision rounds are included.
- 05
Final delivery
High-resolution files (4K–8K TIFF/JPEG/PNG) sized for print and web, typically in 5–7 business days from brief. Rush delivery available in 48–72 hours (rush surcharge applies).
Questions
3D Product Rendering: frequently asked questions
From A$345 per image for a packshot or the first lifestyle scene. Additional angles and colourways of the same product are priced lower per variant because the model already exists. Catalogue projects are quoted as a package.
For ranges with multiple finishes or products that are large, heavy or not yet manufactured, almost always. There is no studio, freight, styling crew or reshoot cost, and a new colourway is a material change rather than a new shoot.
Manufacturing CAD (STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, Rhino, SketchUp) is ideal. Otherwise dimensioned drawings and clear photographs, plus physical samples or supplier codes for finishes.
Yes — that is one of the main reasons brands use rendering. Prototypes, pre-orders and trade-show launches can be marketed with photoreal imagery before the first unit leaves the factory.
A single packshot is typically 3–5 business days. A styled lifestyle scene is 5–7 business days. Catalogue sets are scheduled in batches with a delivery calendar agreed up front.
Yes. Packshots are delivered as JPEG plus transparent PNG so your web team can drop them onto any background.
Yes. Turntable spins, exploded assembly views and short product films are available as extras once the product model exists.
You receive the rendered images with full commercial usage rights. The working model stays with us so we can produce future variants quickly; a model handover can be arranged at a separately quoted fee.
