From the studio archive, described from the render itself.
What the render shows
Terraced villas with private pools stepping up from a beach, shown from sand level with the direct beach access in the foreground.
How it was built
The camera sits on the sand so the terraces step up behind it; sun loungers and a bean bag in the foreground establish scale and lifestyle.
Deliverable
One hero exterior render.
What this render has to do
A resort villa is sold on its setting at least as much as its architecture, so this image starts on the sand instead of in front of a facade. The camera sits at beach level and lets the terraces step up behind it, which tells a buyer two things at once: the villas have direct access to the beach, and every level looks over the water.
It is a studio piece rather than a documented commission, but it shows what a pre-sale hero needs to achieve. It should be the one picture a developer places on a brochure cover, a hoarding or a launch page, and it has to make the lifestyle legible without any caption.
Materials, light and camera
Look at what the foreground is doing. A woven daybed with soft cushions sits at the left edge, sun loungers and parasols recede along the shoreline, and a wide, empty stretch of pale sand gives the villas room to breathe.
Behind, the terraces carry planting along their upper edges, glass balustrades, timber screening and palms that break the horizontal lines, while infinity-edge pools run along the base of each house. The sun sits low on the right, throwing warm light and a soft haze across the water so the pale walls pick up a gentle glow. A faint strip of towers on the horizon keeps the beach from feeling remote.
Variants and extras
A beachfront hero rarely travels alone. Developers commonly add a dusk version, with pool lighting and lit terraces, because evening frames suit launch campaigns. A drone-style aerial shows how the villas sit along the shoreline and starts from A$795, while a second beach-level angle looking the other way covers the opposite end of the row.
Where a campaign needs motion, 3D architectural animation can be built from the same model at A$65 per second, with a 30 second minimum. Interior views of a terrace or living room, from A$345, complete a set that works across print, web and a display suite. Planting, furniture and water colour are all adjustable between versions.
Working with us on a similar project
To brief a resort or villa image, send the site plan, villa elevations and sections, the landscape plan and a note of the time of day you want. Exteriors start from A$445 and we give a fixed quote within one business day. A first draft follows in 5 to 7 business days, and half the fee is due to start with the balance on draft approval.
The turnaround guide describes how scheduling works for a multi-view set, and our guide for property developers covers sequencing images against a launch. We produce this kind of set for projects across Australia; the pages on 3D rendering in Sydney and 3D rendering in Brisbane cover local planning. The 3D exterior renders page shows more of the range.
Questions
Residential exterior: questions clients ask
Water is built as a physically based surface with the right reflection, depth and wave scale, and sand gets fine texture and subtle shadow so it does not look like paper. Both are tuned to the sun angle, because glare on the water is what sells the time of day.
Yes. Once the base scene exists we can swap facade options, terrace layouts or planting to show other villa types from the same camera. Each extra view or option is scoped before work starts, so the cost appears in the fixed quote.
Elevations and sections matter most, because they fix how each terrace steps back and where the pools sit. Add the landscape plan, balustrade and screen details, and a materials schedule. A site plan helps us place the camera at the right distance from the shoreline.
