From the studio archive, described from the render itself.
What the render shows
A café fit-out shown from three angles: the service counter, the booth seating and the window frontage, with a timber-slat ceiling, black steel glazing and a concrete floor.
How it was built
The counter, joinery and pendant lighting were modelled from fit-out drawings, and the scene was dressed with menu boards, crockery and planting so it reads as an operating venue rather than an empty shell.
Deliverable
Three interior renders from one model, framed so the counter, the seating and the frontage can each be assessed on their own.
What this render has to do
A hospitality fit-out is judged on atmosphere, and drawings rarely carry it. This set shows a boutique café from three positions, the counter, the seating and the window frontage, so an owner, a landlord or a funder can judge each zone on its own.
Although it is a studio piece, it reflects a common commercial brief: an operator needs sign-off on a design and a budget before ordering joinery, and approvers want to see a working venue rather than an empty shell. That is why the scenes are dressed with menu screens, cups, laptops, planting and table numbers. The image tells them who the customer is, how the room is arranged and how busy it feels.
Materials, light and camera
The palette is dark and tactile. A raw concrete-look ceiling carries black track lights, with timber boarding framing the edges. The counter front is a pale concrete finish under a warm LED strip, with hourglass-shaped stools along it, open shelving behind and menu boards above.
A large round column wrapped in trailing planting stands in the middle of the floor, ringed by an underlit circular banquette. Black steel frames with reeded glass divide the space into a loose grid, and dark leather booths sit against timber panelling. A polished concrete floor catches shafts of window light, and the frontage glazing opens to a terrace. Cameras sit near seated eye height, so the tables lead the eye.
What to watch for in this type of brief
Dark interiors punish sloppy lighting. If the daylight is too strong the room loses its mood, and if the lamps are too weak it feels like a cave, so the balance between window light and fixture light needs deciding up front. Reeded glass and polished floors need correct reflection or they read flat.
Signage and menu boards are another trap: if brand artwork is not supplied, we show neutral placeholder graphics rather than invent a logo. Finally, decide how busy the room should look. An empty café feels unopened, while a crowded one hides the joinery. A few seated customers in the far background usually strike the right balance.
Working with us on a similar project
Send the fit-out drawings, the joinery details, the lighting layout and a few reference images of the mood you want. Interior renders start from A$345 and every project receives a fixed quote within one business day. Expect a first draft in 5 to 7 business days, with changes handled over as many as four rounds.
Our briefing guide explains how to describe a fit-out, and the 3D rendering cost guide shows how extra camera angles change the price. For wider commercial visualisation, such as a shopfront or a multi-tenant arcade, the same workflow applies. If the café sells packaged goods, product rendering of a bag or a cup can be lit to match the interior views.
Questions
Commercial: questions clients ask
Yes, if you send the artwork. We place logos, menu boards and signage as supplied. Without artwork we use neutral placeholders so no invented branding appears, and final graphics can be swapped in during the revision rounds, of which up to four are included.
Three is a sound starting point: the service counter, the main seating zone and the frontage. Each answers a different question for an approver. A fourth view of a terrace or toilet lobby is worthwhile only when it forms part of the approval. Interiors start from A$345 per angle.
Yes. We model counters, booths, screens and ceilings from the joinery drawings and finish schedule. Send the elevations and sections together so details such as the reeded glass pattern and ceiling boards are built correctly rather than guessed.
