The brief
A real estate agent marketing a large new-build home before completion needed the full listing set: the front approach, the rear pool deck, the living, kitchen and dining spaces, the staircase, the master bedroom and bathroom.
Our approach
The model was built from the AutoCAD and SketchUp files and revised against the builder's specification: flat tile roof, glass-and-chrome single-stringer staircase with walnut treads, large-format porcelain floors, marble pool deck, named appliance brands, quartzite benchtops and reverse-tray ceilings with LED coves.
The result
Eleven stills produced through several revision rounds, with the dining view issued in two versions for the client's choice.
What this render has to do
A large home sold before completion has to be understood room by room. This set follows the way a buyer would walk the property: the front approach, the rear pool deck, then the living, kitchen and dining spaces, the staircase hall and finally the master bedroom and bathroom. Eleven stills were produced in all, and eight are shown here.
Consistency is the point. A listing set of this size only reads as one house if the stone floors, timber tones, metal finishes and light temperature carry from room to room, so a buyer is never asked to imagine a different building. The exteriors set the scene, and the interior renders do the persuading.
Materials, light and camera
The front view shows a pale rendered facade under a dark hipped roof, spiral topiary, ornate lamp posts and a patterned paved path. At the rear, the pool deck glows at dusk, with fire bowls, a sunken lounge and tall palms.
Inside, polished large-format floors run from the living room, beneath a coffered ceiling and a gold-and-glass chandelier, into a kitchen with ribbed-glass upper cabinets lit from within, a waterfall-edge stone island and brass-framed stools. The dining room has a sculpted timber feature wall, the master bedroom a padded headboard and louvred panelling, and the bathroom a patterned shower wall, freestanding bath, arched slatted mirror and a linear fireplace. The staircase hall adds a glass balustrade with floating treads.
How a set like this is built
Houses at this scale are built from the builder's own files. Here those were AutoCAD and SketchUp, turned into a single model and checked against the written specification: a flat tile roof, a glass-and-chrome single-stringer staircase with walnut treads, large-format porcelain floors, named appliance brands, quartzite benchtops and reverse-tray ceilings with LED coves.
That second check matters, because drawings and specifications do not always agree. Interiors were lit and styled once the model was stable, and the set then went through several revision rounds. The dining view was issued in two versions so the client could choose. Our 3D rendering from house plans page covers the files we can work from.
Working with us on a similar project
If you are marketing a house before it is built, tell us how many views you need and send the CAD or plans with the specification. Exteriors start from A$445 and interiors from A$345, and the quote is fixed before we begin, normally within one business day.
A first set generally arrives in five to seven business days, with up to four revision rounds, and the first half of the fee is due at the start and the second half on draft approval. Large sets can be staged, exteriors first and interiors after. Our turnaround guide covers staging, and display-home renders are the closest reference. The process is the same in every market, from 3D rendering in Sydney to 3D rendering in Perth: the files and the brief matter more than the postcode.
Questions
Residential exterior: questions clients ask
Yes. We model the whole home from the builder's CAD or plans and specification, then render exteriors and each key room in a consistent style. A set can include the approach, the rear garden or pool, living spaces, staircase and bedrooms.
We work from the builder's specification as well as the drawings, modelling named appliances, benchtop stones, floor tiles and staircase details to match. Where the two sources disagree, we raise it before rendering instead of choosing for you.
Yes. A room such as a dining space can be issued in two versions from the same model, so the client compares them directly. The extra version can sit within your revision rounds, and every project includes up to four.
